Riverdale Rising Stars Jr. proudly presents SEUSSICAL JR. for a limited engagement of three performances only: Thursday, June 13 at 7:00pm, and Sunday, June 16 at 2:00pm and 6:00pm.

"Oh the thinks you can think!" Dr. Seuss's best-loved characters, including The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, Gertrude McFuzz, and more, bounce from the page to the stage in Riverdale Rising Stars Jr.'s production of SEUSSICAL JR.! Join us for this crazy quilt of a musical adventure celebrating the power of imagination, in which the biggest "think" ever saves the day!

Featuring a cast of 22 young actors ages 7 to 11 from Riverdale, Yonkers, Upper Manhattan, and beyond, performances will be held at the Riverdale YM-YWHA, located at 5625 Arlington Avenue (just off of Riverdale Avenue and West 256th Street), in Riverdale, Bronx, NY.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $12 for seniors and students if purchased online, or $22 for adults and $14 for seniors and students if purchased at the door prior to showtime. SEUSSICAL JR. features lyrics by Lynn Ahrens and music by Stephen Flaherty ("Ragtime," "Once on This Island," the film "Anastasia," and the upcoming Broadway musical adaptation of "Rocky") and a book by Ahrens and Flaherty based on the Dr. Seuss stories. The Rising Stars Jr. production is directed by Julian Rozzell Jr.

SEUSSICAL premiered on Broadway in 2000, and has gone on to become one of the most frequently-produced musicals in North America, a favorite at regional theatres, schools, and community theatres across the country. In fact, SEUSSICAL JR., a condensed version of the Broadway script and score, launched the Rising Stars Jr. program in 2007.
