Its A Wonderful Life is the holiday gift of all time where every time a bell rings an angel gets its wings. This heartwarming fantasy, one of the most popular films ever made, begins as angels discuss George Bailey, a small-town resident of Bedford Falls, who has given up his dreams to help others when he is down and out on life. Christmas Eve brings about the intervention of his guardian angel, Clarence Odbody (Henry Travers) who shows George all the lives he has touched, and how different life in his community would be if he had never been born. The film stars James Stewart as George Bailey, Donna Reed and Lionel Barrymore. Filled with renewed joy in life, George goes home to his loving family and friends, who pitch in with great community spirit to put his worries behind him. It's a Wonderful Life is considered one of the greatest films ever made. It was nominated for five Academy Awards, including Best Picture, and has been recognized by the American Film Institute as one of the 100 best American films ever made.
