Herbal Medicine Making Weekend Intensive
During this two-day weekend intensive, we will be learning to make eight different herbal preparations, most of which you will take home with you! We will make together all the preparations we learn about throughout the weekend, and learn about all the herbs and substances that go in them. This is a chance to build some serious comfort and confidence in making your herbal remedies at home, and have a great time while doing it. Come with questions and curiosity (and everything on the what to bring list of course).
Here are the preparations will be learning and making: Decoctions Infusions Tinctures Syrups herb-infused oils Creams Salves One additional mystery preparation that we can choose as a group ;)
We will also cover how to determine if your medicine is potent, dosage and safety for all preparations, the best applications for each preparation, tricks for making strong medicine and more specifics.
