Yannie - Godbout Jazz Duo

Mark Yannie has been playing Sax, Clarinet, and Flute in the area since 1999. He has played for many national acts, toured, and freelanced for years in the Orlando/Tampa, area, and Cleveland. His groups: the Swing Trio, Jazz Quartet, Small Big Band, and Classical Duo can be heard locally in a variety of settings. www.livemusicjazz.com. He is also a regular member of the ACME Jazz Company Big Band and Chino Latino Latin Jazz Group. Mark has toured with Melissa Manchester, the Glenn Miller, and the Tommy Dorsey Orchestras and has had steady engagements with Norwegian, Princess, Scandinavian World Cruise Lines, the Grand Floridian, and Seaworld Renaissance Hotel. He has also backed-up acts including: Rosemary Clooney, Vic Damone, Lou Rawls, Patti Page, The Temptations, and Jack Jones.

Ted Godbout is a pianist, composer, and educator based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He holds a B.A. in Music-Piano Performance from St. Johns University and an M.M. in Jazz Studies from the University of Oregon. A versatile and active musician, Ted performs frequently as a jazz pianist and classical accompanist, as well in funk, R&B, and rock bands. He has performed with such notable artists and groups as Ron Miles, Mark Colby, Tim Patrick and his Blue Eyes Band, PaviElle, Lila Ammons, and Alicia Steele.and the Harry James Orchestra. He also played trombone and keyboards in Fred Savage and the Unbeatables, which released two full-length albums and opened for such acts as Three Dog Night, OAR, Tommy James and the Shondells, Bobby Vee, and De La Soul.
