"Mr. Brochu (aka the boss) runs his gas station as best as he can. Despite repeated thefts, hold-ups and the ferocious competition of self-serve stations in the neighborhood, he holds on. Because of his strained relationship with his two sons and their ambitions, he cannot rely on them to take over the Champlain service station. In spite of the tragedies of his life, the Boss manages to attract the locals around his gas station, trading stories and having a good laugh
