Tommy Ager | Trombone

Tommy Ager began playing trombone at age 3, and it was all downhill from there. He came through the Roosevelt High School jazz program, and was a 1st trombone for 4 years in the Husky Marching Band. After obtaining a bachelors in Japanese Language and Literature at the University of Washington, he is now studying at Shoreline Community College for an associates degree in MIDI production. Tommy Ager is also a founding member and lead trombonist in the Ten Man Brass Band, a Seattle based New Orleans style brass band that has been starting street parties since 2011 (recently returned from a tour in L.A.). When not with Ten Man, Tommy writes music and scores a wide variety of media, including short films, games, and podcasts. This winter will mark the launch of the Day Playerspodcast, an improvised role playing podcast featuring his original music. You can also find him selling bread and coffee at the Wedgwood Grand Central Bakery.

Aaron Coe | Tuba

A versatile brass musician whose favorite settings are brass quintet and pit orchestra, Aaron has been an active member of brass quintets since middle school. He has performed for years with quintets at Mukilteo Presbyterian, at Seattle Pacific University, at the Tanglewood Institute, and at WMEA State Ensemble competition. Some upcoming performances include Holiday Pops! (Dec. 9 & 10) and Beethoven and Franck (Jan. 14) with the Cascade Symphony, as well as Sing Christmas (Dec. 2) with Mukilteo Presbyterian. Aaron recently graduated cum laude with a B.S. in electrical engineering and is looking for career opportunities. Additionally, if you require a trumpet or tuba for an upcoming performance, you can contact him at coea@spu.edu.

Nikka Dellosa-Phillips | Horn

Nikka Dellosa-Phillips graduated Summa Cum Laude from Seattle Pacific University with a Bachelors in Music Performance. She won 1st place in the French horn solo division of WMEA State Solo Ensemble Competition and competed at the state level for her remaining high school years. She also had the honor of touring Eastern Europe twice with Cascade Youth Symphony in 2011 and 2014, with the latest tour as a concerto soloist. During her time at SPU, she studied under the instruction of Rodger Burnett and performed with several ensembles including Cascade Symphony, Seattle Collaborative Orchestra, and Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra. She currently substitutes for various community ensembles and enjoys arranging and recording popular music for horn in her free time. She works at her alma mater as the Maintenance Stores Manager for the Office of Facility & Project Management where she supports the ins and outs of the University.
