Media Chamber Chorale's Holiday Concert, December 7

Join us for Media Chamber Chorale's 2018 Holiday Concert, Our Favorite Things, featuring John Rutter's Gloria. In addition, the choir will perform a wide repertoire of songs drawn from highlights of our past 15 holiday concerts-- truly "our favorite things"! Get into the holiday spirit with a mix of classics and new favorites. Under the expert direction of John Stroud, with accompaniment by William Gatens and orchestral instruments. There will be a reception following the concert, where you can meet and chat with choir and fellow audience members.

Media Chamber Chorale began in 1984 with a group of professional and dedicated amateur singers who wished to perform quality music in a chamber setting. We have performed annual winter and spring concerts since 1992, and we have been asked to sing at numerous community venues including Tyler Arboretum, Longwood Gardens, the Delaware County Summer Festival in Rose Tree Park, retirement communities, and the PA Renaissance Faire. We also perform annually at the Wallingford Community Arts Center's holiday craft fair.

We sing diverse music that includes standard choral repertoire such as the Rutter Gloria we are performing now, as well as spirituals, opera excerpts, show tunes, madrigals, and folk songs. 2018 marks the 15th anniversary of our conductor John B.
