Tank-arets Winter Laike WINTER LAIKE IS A WORK IN PROGRESS
Winter Laike is a Work in Progress is a smorgasbord of material in various stages of developmentsome songs may be familiar to the audience while others make their theatrical debut as they find their way indirectly from Winters brain to the stage via the A train from Brooklyn to Manhattan, which likely ran over the F line between Jay Street-Metrotech and West 4th Street.
Missed Connections is a collection of songs inspired by real-life Craigslist missed connections (R.I.P.) started in 2012 as part of a Fun-A-Day project. Each day for a month, Winter chose a missed connection post and attempted to write a song about it. Some days were far more fruitful than others, both literally and figuratively.
The tentatively-titled rock opera, Journey, is based on a series of recurring dreams following an avian protagonist on a search for purpose, self-worth, and belonging in world.
