Laurie Keller and Alan Silberberg Potato Party
We're having a potato party and every spud's invited.
Our event features Laurie Keller, the acclaimed author and illustrator of Arnie the Doughnut and Scrambled States of America. She also collaborated with Mo Willems on We're Growing.
Her newest book is Potato Pants, Summary, the story of a potato and his eggplant nemesis who struggle to find the perfect pants. They just don't see eye to eye or should that be eye to calyx? It's a hilarious and heartwarming tale of forgiveness.
Joining Keller is her good friend Alan Silberberg, whose new picture book is Meet the Latkes, a book about Lucy Latke and her family, who sometimes don't quite get the story of Hanukkah correct. At least the dog knows what's going on. If you and your family love James Marshall, you're likely to find Meet the Latkes very a-peel-ing.
