Comics February 5th...

Dobie Maxwell (Headliner): Dobie was born and raised in Milwaukee and has been a regular headliner for Zanies Comedy Clubs for years. He is a former morning radio host on 97.9 'The Loop' and is the author of a fascinating true crime story called 'Monkey in the Middle'. He is known as 'Mr. Lucky' due to the many obstacles he has had to endure.

Katie Meiners (Feature): A stand-up comic, actress, comedy writer and regular at clubs and Panera Breads nationwide. Shes been described as pretty for a funny girl and funny for a pretty girl and appreciates both compliments equally. At turns sarcastic and silly, incredulous and incisive, Katie is someone whose gleeful take on the ordinary and extraordinary elements of our lives will make you laugh and think long after her performance has ended.

Mark McPartland (Feature): is a comic from North Carolina who has open for Ron Funches, Matt Branger, and Joe Zimmerman. In 2018, he came in second during NCs Funniest person contest.

Corey Wood (Emcee): started comedy in West Texas where he founded the group Laugh Hub City. In Chicago he can be seen doing shows at Laugh Factory, Zanies and across Chicagoland. Corey often makes absurd arguments that keeps the audience laughing as he backs it up with hilarious logic. He also talks about teaching, religion, love, and sex in a humorous and honest way that audiences love.

Richard Laible (Producer): Richard Laible is an alumnus of Chicagos The Second City, iO and a founding member of The Annoyance Theater. He has written and performed in hundreds of corporate industrials for numerous Fortune 500 companies including Discover Card, HP, Sony, Cisco, Motorola, McDonalds, Kraft, IBM, SAP and many, many more. Richard is a Co-Producer of The Bookstall After Dark comedy series. Richard and his family reside in Winnetka, Illinois. Richard also likes Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain, making love at midnight in the dunes on the Cape. www.RichardLaible.com
