OVID on the Rocks
When the poet Ovid is exiled to a remote outpost of the Roman Empire, he thinks it is the end of the world
But befriended by a fishwife and the leader of a troupe of traveling players, Ovid wins over the locals as they watch stagings of some of his famous comic and dramatic stories, including -
King Midas and the Touch of Gold
Arachne and the Punishment of Minerva
Daedalus and Icarus and the Wings of Wax
Meanwhile the traveling players are performing a hilarious saucy farce - the only problem being that their writer hasnt finished the script yet
Can Ovid save the day?!
