Skerryvore and We Banjo 3!

Perhaps the Event of the Season! One incredible evening of music on a single stage presenting the two bands that have been acknowledged as the most exciting live bands playing today from their respective countries (Scotlands Skerryvore and Irelands We Banjo 3).

Twice winners of Scotlands Traditional Music Live Act of the Year Skerryvore has been on a meteoric journey that has taken them from the remote Isle of Tiree on to international tours from New York City to Shanghai, China. Skerryvore creates a unique fusion of folk, trad, rock and Americana that represents all the different personalities and upbringing of the eight band members who each hail from different regions of Scotland.

From Galway, Ireland, We Banjo 3 plays a blend of traditional Irish, old time, and bluegrass music they call Celtgrass. The Wall Street Journal described their playing with a finesse bordering on the magical, while Live Ireland has proclaimed them the hottest group in Irish music. Their debut album Roots of the Banjo Tree was named Traditional Music Album of the Year by The Irish Times. Their most recent album String Theory reached Number One on the World Billboard Charts.
