Atacama
Atacama, by Augusto Federico Amador, is a play about a man and woman who meet in the Atacama desert in northern Chile while searching for bone fragments of los desaparacidos, political prisoners executed and buried by Pinochet's regime.  What they discover shakes their souls. Teatro Paraguas presents the world premiere.  Atacama is a finalist in the Austin Latinx New Play Festival, the San Diego Latinx New Play Festival, and the BBC International Playwriting Competition. The playwright will be present at the performances of the first weekend.
