Edible and Medicinal Plant Walk: August
During this two hour walk at Seward Park in Seattle, we will discuss and identify several edible and medicinal plants and any lookalikes we may come across. We will likely encounter plants such as low Oregon grape, poison oak, willow, rose, salal, hawthorn, madrone, cramp bark, and others.

Look at the weather report before  you come and plan for the weather (sun hat or rain gear... I'd bring both!).

Please purchase your tickets ahead of time on Brown Paper Tickets to guarantee your spot.  You are responsible for paying attention to the meeting spot and looking it up ahead of time. Parks are usually quite large with lots of parking lots. The pin is listed below, and I will also send it out to the attendee list before the event.

I host plant walks every month in various parks, even in the winter! Attending them in different seasons is a good way to expand your repertoire.
