Rat City All-Stars host Basics Skating Camp
Rat City All-Stars will be hosting a basics skating camp for people interested in learning how to roller skate. We will have two separate clinic days. The first (skating 101 on Saturday) is everything you need to know to start roller skating: time will be spent off skates learning about gear, workouts to help develop skating skills and will include a general Q&A session; time on skates will be focused on learning how to start, stop and fall safely. The second (skating 201 on Sunday) will build on the first session, reviewing skills learned and applying them to roller derby; well introduce skaters to roller derby skills, strategy and rules.
$30 for one day pass, $55 for two day pass.
Saturday, 2-6pm
Sunday, 8am-12pm.
Please be sure to bring your own gear and skates!
