Stephen Ashbrook Cellars GERONIMO Wine Release - Walla Walla, WA

Geronimo is here!!! The highly anticipated release of Stephen Ashbrook Cellars first wine, called Geronimo, is happening on Saturday August 11th at Walla Walla Vintners, in Walla Walla WA. Stephen Ashbrook will play a solo acoustic intimate show. This show is all ages, and free to the public. Come enjoy wine tasting, great food for purchase in a beautiful setting. The Ashbrook family fell in love with the craft of winemaking and eventually created its own wine label in 2017. The family's mission is to produce amazing wines that capture the free spirit of Folk Rock music and the adventure of the Pacific Northwest. Every Stephen Ashbrook Cellars release is named after the Ashbrook song, lyric or album it most resembles. Stephen and Kristi Ashbrook began working with Northwest area winemakers in search of the perfect big red blend for their first release. Geronimo is the result of a collaboration with Walla Walla Vintners that created a bold blend of bright fruit notes of strawberry, raspberry and red plum, with tones of licorice, violet and spice. This folk blend offers traces of clove, cedar and olive, dusted with cocoa powder. Both verse and chorus are balanced, with ample acidity and integrated tannins, finishing with a long outro that recalls cedar, vanilla, caramel and just a touch of cherry cola. Yum!
