Join singer-songwriter Adam Smith as he hosts one of his favorite singer-songwriters for a unique live performance and conversation at The Listening Room Phoenix. Here's the format: The show will start off with the guest artist performing one of Adam Smiths songs of their choosing. Next, we will settle in for a conversation focusing on the guest artist and what music/creativity means to them. Then, after the interview segment, Adam will perform one of the guest artists songs followed by a full live performance where both Adam and his guest will each do a 30-minute solo set, all in front of a live studio audience.

Eric Ramsey
Eric is two-time champion of the Phoenix Blues Society's Blues Showdown. He was a semi-finalist at the 2017 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN. He won the Stefan George Memorial (Tucson Folk Festival) Songwriting Competition and has been tapped for the prestigious Songwriter's Showcase produced by Tempe Center for the Arts, filmed for PBS distribution. He's a regularly a featured performer at the Prescott Center for the Arts and has headlined shows at the Highlands Center and the Flagstaff Folk Project in Arizona.

Eric is a favorite on the Folk and Blues Festival circuits, not only for his dynamic
performances but for his open tuning and slide guitar workshops. With soaring vocals and organic arrangements, Eric writes from experience about the human condition - at times sensitive, at times humorous, always thought-provoking. His arrangements and delivery encompass a spectrum of styles, from delicate fingerpicking to raucous, bluesy bottleneck slide.

Adam Smith
Adam Smith is a self-taught multi-instrumentalist who grew up in the mountains of Southeast Kentucky. He began writing songs in his early teens upon hearing Joni Mitchells album "Blue" which he says changed his life forever. He has since released five full-length studio albums and toured the United States, bringing his unique sound to a growing number of loyal fans. Adam now resides in Phoenix AZ and is working on new projects which can be expected to release this year.
