The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee Clayton Theatre Company presents William Finn and Rachel Sheinkins hit musical. Nominated in 2005 for five Tony Awards and winning for Best Book. Six awkward middle school spelling champions learn that winning (and losing) isnt everything. Adult actors channel their pre-teen selves in this uproariously funny musical. PG-13
Another fun feature of the show is the four willing and enthusiastic audience members who participate in "The Bee" at every performance. To be considered as a contestant in "The Bee", an audience member needs to arrive 30 minutes before curtain and fill out a form.
