Doreen Taylor LIVE
For one special night only, please join award winning singer/songwriter and international recording artist, Doreen Taylor as she kicks off her 2013 "Magic" tour at the World Cafe Live in Philadelphia, PA on Thursday, May 23, 2013. Doreen will create "Magic" on this historic stage as she performs songs from her debut country album "Magic"...and perhaps a few surprises.
All profits will be donated to Ron Jaworski's "Jaws Youth Playbook", which focuses on a mission to improve the overall health and wellness of at-risk youth, primarily in the Greater Philadelphia Region through raising awareness and advocating for the access to safe play and healthy choices, and supporting programs providing positive youth health and wellness platforms. Recently exploding onto the international music scene, Doreen Taylor has been featured on Fox Studio 11 LA, the Lifetime Network, The CW Network "The Daily Buzz", Live ON Lakeside NBC 3 WKYC Cleveland, WGRZ NBC Channel 2, WKBW ABC's AM Buffalo and WFMZ Allentown 69 and won the coveted "2012 Suggested Artist of the Year Award" by the 'Song of the Year' international songwriting contest and was named by guyism.com as the celebrity "One To Watch" for 2013. Doreen is thrilled to welcome special guest, The Laura Cheadle Family Band to kick off the night with a lively performance filled with upbeat introspection. Opening for groups like The Spin Doctors, Sister Hazel, The Jonas Brothers and American Idol Star: Constantine Maroulis, Laura and her family band will be opening for this special one night only event. She is an eclectic and thoughtful singer/songwriter with a flavor of rock, soul, jazz and funk all rolled up in an explosive live set. Laura creates her own unique style of song-writing by giving rock/pop a soulful twist with a splash of blues.
