ALTERED STATES

OperaWorks productions are created to bring awareness to current social issues through live musical-dramatic productions. Altered States explores our own addictions that prevent us from being Present. The vice of choice can be illicit or accepted, criminal or respected.

This production unifies movement with arias and songs, undressed from their usual plots into one powerful theatrical experience. The music is arranged as one continuous stream of story and consciousness.
