PDC - Writers Circle Showcase 2018
Nine Philadelphia-area playwrights will present staged readings of never-seen-before plays at the Rotunda of the University of Pennsylvania, 4014 Walnut Street, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 16 and Thursday, June 21, 2018. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door or in advance at www.pdc1.org.
For over 20 years, the Philadelphia Dramatists Center (PDC), a developmental resource for local playwrights, has been sponsoring The Writers Circle, which meet bi-weekly at the Community Education Center. Over the years, member playwrights have won multiple awards and have seen their works produced across the country. Now, the PDC thinks its time for Philadelphians to these playwrights work for themselves.
