Momentum 2018: A Century of American TheaterDance

A series of exciting dance performances by students of The Big Open Space (TBOS) TheaterDance program showcasing 100 years of American TheaterDance. The program is specifically designed for students of musical theater and the performing arts, teaching a myriad of dance styles, including jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hiphop, period dance, world dance, character dance and Broadway repertory.

Directed and choreographed by Lee Kane. Lee is the founder and director of The Big Open Space. Her goal is to instill a sense of confidence and a love for dance in Bay Area youth.

Where and when: 2 performances at Malonga Casquelourd Center for the Arts, 1428 Alice St in Oakland - Saturday June 16 at 6:30pm and Sunday June 17 at 2pm.
