Foundations of Caregiver Support - Train the Trainer

FCS is a set of five educational models to provide introductory training to caregivers. Specifically, the modules are: brain development; child development; the impact of trauma; understanding loss and grief; and healing and resilience for Indigenous Peoples and communities. FCS training aims to shift thinking from what is wrong with this child? to a more trauma-informed, what has happened to this child?
This 'Train the Trainer' session will train a consortium of approximately 40 trainers, who will be responsible for extending the training to their own agency staff and caregivers.
Please note June 18th, day one will be held at Bent Arrow Healing society from 10 am till 4:30 pm. June 19th and June 20th will be held at Ellerslie Rugby Park form 8:30 am till 4:30 pm.
June 21st will also be held at Ellerslie Rugby Park from 8:30 am till 12:30 pm. If you are traveling from out of town please contact Nicole at nicolem@alignab.ca to discuss agency travel support.
