The Van Burens at Stone Church w/ The Youngest Son

The Van Burens are a family band of musical weirdos who love to make sonic experiences together. The Official Band of Quincy, MA (the City of Presidents), the VBs are dedicated to the pursuit of fun, energetic shows that move folks to dance, laugh, and feel feelings. These songwriter nerds serve up an eclectic mix of reggae, funk, and rock music in the tradition of family ensembles like The Wailers, Parliament, and The Band.

Since 2007 The Youngest Sun has worked to fine tune an energetic brand of music that explores and integrates many different genres. As likely to explore roots and Americana textures as they are to launch into an extended, funk/soul infused psychedelic groove, The Youngest Sun approaches every show with an eye towards providing a unique, dynamic live experience.
