TICKETS ARE CURRENTLY AVAILABLE ONLINE - TICKETS AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR

Ghosted is a runway show fully designed and produced by Seattle University's Fashion Club members. In the past ten years, our club has produced "On My Block" Runway shows, with members reaching out to local boutiques to donate clothing for the event. Beginning last year, we now source clothing from second hand sources as pieces our members re-design and style. By doing this, it gives us more control and creative direction, while also encouraging sustainability.

The show is a critique on society's flaws today, focusing on our forgotten society. A society operates within a system, which dictates its limitations, constructed through society. The immediacy technology imposes on our society's system leaves much and many forgotten. In our search for progression and innovation, we ignore the teachings of the past, as well as the characters we learn through. Ghosted seeks to remember the artifacts and agents whose existence we have dissolved.

Ghosted takes cues from the past, while re-purposing the frame of mind for the future. The aesthetic is incongruous in its color and form- emulating the consonantly interrupted chains of information we revive through technology.

Join us May 18th at 9pm to see these one of a kind pieces and have your chance to take one (or more) home, as we will be selling our FCSU originals in a silent auction alongside handmade art made by our members and close friends. Come drink, listen to music, network with local fashion lovers, and celebrate fashion as a community.

A portion of the proceeds will go to Dress For Success, an organization which provides professional clothing for women in need of professional attire for interviews or jobs. "The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life."
