THE STUDIO @ SAC: The Radiance Project Workshop for Women

The Radiance Project, from February 26 May 20, 2018, will engage the community in collaborative print-making to construct a visionary tapestry. East End artist Andrea Cote is interested in spaces where education, art-making, social practice, and public art can intersect. At a time when words divide, can a shared embodied experience unite? The process will be on view throughout the course of her residency at SAC as we journey from winter to summer. Based on the circular mandala form, and using our collective bodies, we will create a multi-dimensional radiant communal portrait.

The Radiance Project" is made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a re-grant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor M. Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature, and administered by The Huntington Arts Council.
