Glass Fusion Basics

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with us and make a Margarita glass fusion yard art with glow in the dark frit for the "salt". Students also have the option of creating a heart suncatcher.

Resident artist Donna Smit will teach this glass fusion basic class to enhance your cutting skills, techniques, proper use of tools, and a demonstration to create shapes with glass using glue and powdered frit. The emphasis will be on improving your own cutting skills and discussion of metal inclusions. These skills will help the student with future upcoming classes. Each student will create a heart suncatcher in this class. Even if you have taken one of Donna's glass fusion classes, this is a more in depth study of techniques. Limited to 8 students.

Cancellation Policy: Preregistration is required for all classes including payment in full. A full refund is available for cancellations up to 7 days before class, half refund 2-7 days before class. There is no refund within 48 hours of class. If there is a waiting list or you can find someone to fill your spot, we are happy to offer a full workshop credit or get you scheduled for another class.
