Imagine Jazz Festival: Willie Jones III Quintet

As part of the 2018 Imagine Jazz Festival, we are bringing guest artist Willie Jones III Quintet for concerts and clinics on April 24th & 25th. The Jazz Quintet includes Jeremy Pelt, Ralph Moore, Eric Reed, Gerald Cannon and Willie Jones.

These Jazz performers have travelled the world for 20 years or more playing some of the greatest and most famous jazz venues and have played with Jazz legends such as Art Blakey, Joe Henderson, Horace Silver, Roy Hargrove, Ray Brown, Freddie Hubbard, Wynton Marsalis and more.

The Quintet will perform clinics and masterclasses at Holy Names Music Center on the evening of April 24th, and perform a concert at The House of Soul on Wednesday April 25th at 7pm. Members of the quintet will also visit several local schools while in Spokane.

The Imagine Jazz Festival is a Collaboration between Rachel Bade-McMurphy and her Imagine Collective working in conjunction with The House of Soul, Holy Names Music Center, KEWU and The Spokane Jazz Connection.

Rachel and her collaborators hope like to bring more events and educational opportunities to Spokane and feel the Imagine Jazz brand leaves possibilities for more to come.
