Andie Safon works to build and manage relationships with our most active supporters on DonorsChoose.org. She and her team strive to create opportunities that will delight donors, show gratitude for their generosity, and deepen their engagement with DonorsChoose.org. Prior to joining the team, Andie worked as a behavioral therapist and at an e-book subscription startup called Oyster. During Wednesday's meeting, she'll share more about DonorsChoose.org's story, impact to date, stories from the field, and ways that donors get involved.

About DonorsChoose.org: Public schools often lack resources for students to thrive. As a result, teachers are spending $1 billion from their own pockets each year on supplies. DonorsChoose.org makes it easy for any individual to address this inequity, one classroom at a time. Teachers create classroom requests for resources and experiences they need to teach their students. Anyone can give any amount to a project that moves them, and when they do, they hear back from the classroom their donation supported through handwritten thank you notes and photos of the resources being put to use.

We meet 6:45pm for 7:00pm at Playwright Tavern, 202 West 49th Street, 3rd Floor (between Broadway and 7th Ave).
