Sex and the Kitty

Welcome to 2018, where men of fame and power are dropping like flies. From the White House to Hollywood to the guy catcalling on the street, women can't seem to escape. Alpha males are being revealed as jerks you never want to be left alone with. That guy who makes the off-color jokes or the woman who thinks crotch grabs are "flattering" are no longer cute. Join DB Comedy as we tackle the thorny issues of sexual politics in the premier show of the 2018 season--SEX & THE KITTY SKETCH COMEDY FOR THE #METOO ERA.

DB Comedy Chicagos only theater company dedicated solely to political satire and sketch comedy features World Premiere Comedy written by our Writers of Wrongs, and performed by our Actors of Evil.

SEX & THE KITTY performs Tuesdays at 7:30 pm from April 3 through May 1 at Marys Attic, 5400 North Clark Street, in the heart of Downtown Andersonville. Doors open at 7, and prices are $15, $12 for seniors and students, and group rates available. April 3 is Industries Night, with 2-for-1 specials if you work in theatre, politics, and/or a nonprofit!

As always DB Comedy opens its doors to several Causes Celebre during SEX & THE KITTY. These are local nonprofits coming to raise awareness and money while laughing and tipping a few. Causes for SEX & THE KITTY include: the radio show Playtime with Bill Turck and Kerri Kendall (April 17); Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble (April 24); and Artemesia Theatre (May 1).

Whether you find yourself overwhelmed, or find yourself saying #Metoo, we all have to adjust to this new healthy reality.
