Lancaster Roots and Blues is a three-day music and arts festival in downtown Lancaster Pennsylvania on February 22, 23 and 24, 2019. The 2019 festival will be the 6th year for Lancaster Roots and Blues.
Due to many requests we have added an All ages day to Chameleon Club on Sunday Feb. 24, only. Featuring Gangstagrass and Billy Walton Band. The bar will be open on main floor for those over 21 and the mezzanine will be no alcohol and all ages. Price is just $15!
The rest of the festival is 21 and over only.
Lancaster Roots and Blues features a combination of musical artists representing a wide array of genres including Blues, Celtic, Bluegrass, Americana, Rock n' Roll, Jazz, Funk and Soul, Reggae and so much more on multiple stages at a variety of great venues, all within a walking distance of each other. New for 2019 we will see the inclusion of the rich and dynamic arts scene here in Lancaster. Lancaster Roots and Blues is always a super fun time and a true music lover's paradise and now there will be even more to see and do while visiting the festival.
Also new for 2019, we will add more shows on Saturday and Sunday afternoons since it is now apparent people enjoy coming to the festival during the day as much as at night. The festival is always growing and we aim to please!

We offer a three-day VIP ticket and One-day VIP ticket. VIP's get preferred seating options at the Main Stage in the convention center with your own bar.
Our opening VIP reception is at Lancasters newest restaurant, the Imperial on the ground floor of the Hotel Lancaster, on the corner of N. Queen St. and Chestnut St. Reception includes hors doeuvres and a cash bar from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The private VIP party is Saturday afternoon at Chameleon Club featuring Detroits Queen of the Blues, Thornetta Davis. Also, there will complimentary hors doeuvres from five different restaurants. (Cash bar) Party runs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
There will also be VIP only mini-concerts at The Sugartank Recording Studio.
If you already purchased a 3-day, 2-day or 1-day General Admission ticket or someone gave you a gift and now you want to upgrade your ticket to the VIP Experience you may now purchase a VIP upgrade. These only work if you also have a general admission ticket. Scroll down below to 1-day, 2-day and 3-day VIP tickets and you'll see the options for the upgrades.
We also offer our popular lifetime membership for $625 for one person or two for $1000. There is no service charge for these memberships if you purchase before Dec. 1, 2018.

Is the Lifetime Membership ticket transferable?
A single ticket can be transferred anytime before the 2019 festival in case you want to make it a gift. Just email us here with your name and the name of the person you want to transfer it to. After that you cannot transfer the ticket. That means when you triumphantly enter the great Juke-Joint in the sky at 101 years of age or sooner, your Lifetime Membership goes with you. If you buy a pair, you can choose to assign one to another person at some point or you can maintain the ownership of the membership and bring the guest of your choice each year.
Note: The ticket date on Lifetime Membership says for Feb. 22, 23 and 24, 2019 Brown Paper Tickets does not have a way to show an open ended purchase. Rest assured you are in fact buying a lifetime membership good for annual admittance to the festival. We maintain your name on a list and will have the list each year at ticketing Will Call. Will Call will be at The Lancaster Marriott again this year in the Commonwealth Ballroom where the Arts Expo is.
While we encourage you to buy a festival ticket so you may enjoy the full flavor of the festival in any given day we understand you may be short on budget and short on time. We offer single venue, single day tickets on sale. Scroll to bottom of ticket options to see these tickets.
When you go to process your credit card it says it takes Paypal. Click on that even if you don't have a Paypal account. They give you the choice of processing through Paypal or just below that option, you can just run your credit card like you normally would during an internet sale. Also, If you want a hard ticket mailed to you, be sure to scroll down and make that choice on the order page. They will send you your tickets, no extra charge.

Box Office info: If you have a festival ticket, (Either hard ticket, printed ticket or on your phone) or you are buying a ticket are or picking up your Will Call Tickets for this weekend, you will need to go to the Box office in the Marriott/Lancaster Convention Center 25 S. Queen St. Lancaster PA, 17603 The main entrance is in the Square of Lancaster. (Look for the tallest building in town!) Take escalator up to second floor, and box office will be to your left and main stage will be straight ahead and up one more escalator.
Box Office Hours are;
Friday 2 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Saturday 12:30 to 10:00 p.m. Sunday 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The exception is if you purchased a single venue ticket only then you go can straight to the venue you bought the ticket for.
Ticket sales are final. Non-refundable.

Do we have to take out tickets somewhere to get wristbands before entering a venue? Or can we just take our tickets directly to any venue to gain entrance?

Tickets need to be redeemed for wristbands at the box in the convention center attached to the Marriott Lancaster. Box office opens 2 p.m.in Friday the 22, 1 p.m on sat. 23 and 11 a.m. Sunday the 24.
