A Little Princess, the Musical

Join the award winning DreamWeaver Theatrical Productions as we perform A Little Princess, the Musical, April 12-14, 2018, at the Fishbowl Center For Performing Arts in Karcher Mall of Nampa.

DreamWeaver will have ASL (American Sign Language) interpreters at our Matinee at 3 pm, April 14th. Please note on your ticket purchase under comments if you will need an interpreter so we can make sure and reserve seats for your group.

Separated from her father in India after her mother dies of cholera, Sara Crewe is enrolled in Miss Minchins, a boarding school for young ladies in London. The wealthy Sara is friendly, generous, sweet, and becomes beloved by all the pupils in the school (even though Miss Minchin secretly hates her). She befriends the scullery maid and the schools least popular girl (Ermenguarde), and uses her imagination to tell exotic stories. Things go badly for Sara when word of her father's death is delivered to Miss Minchin. Forced to become a scullery maid, starving and abused, she manages to rise above her circumstances by remaining kind and loving. Sara counters all of Miss Minchin's best efforts to degrade her, while maintaining the grace and virtue of a little princess. When a mysterious man appears in Sara and Becky's attic room, strange and mystical things begin to happen.

The story of A Little Princess is brought to life through a touching and beautiful score and lively choreography. A Little Princess is the perfect show for all ages and guaranteed to tug at your heartstring and bring a smile.

DreamWeaver will host a Princess Breakfast and show at 10 am on April 14th. Wear your best princess dress and crown and join our ladies for a special breakfast of pastries, tea and juice!
