Live From The Red Barn - MikeHamiltonBand and New Early Sunrise Band

The MikeHamiltonBand is celebrating the release of the "2 Stupid 2 Lip Sink Chronicles" live recording and the 30th anniversary of their first studio album, "No Doubt Crypto," which is slated for re-release this Spring. The MikeHamiltonBand is Mike Hamilton (Guitars, Harmonica, Vocals); Melinda Hamilton (Guitars, Mandolin, Vocals); Tom Owens (Bass, Vocals); Dexter Keane (Drums, Vocals); and Stan Lipinski (Keyboards, Accordian, Vocals). Special guest Phil Papotnik from Erie, PA will be performing with the band (Saxes, Clarinet, Flute, Vocals). Phil has played on many of Mike's albums and we're thrilled to have him be a part of this celebration.

The New Early Sunrise Band is Dave Goodman (Violin, Vocals); Archie Warnock (Guitar, Vocals); Geff King (Bass, Vocals), Dave Hadley (Pedal Steel, Lead Guitar); Doc Ryder (Drums). Past member Bruce Sponsler (Banjo, Vocals) and possibly other former band members will be performing with NESB. The band is celebrating their 40th anniversary and the 25th anniversary of the release of their album "Telephone" which Mike co-produced and engineered. Many of the members of NESB have played on Mike Hamilton albums.

The show is being held at The Red Barn in Savage, MD, (Cotton Shed Building) just a stone's throw from where Mike and Melinda met 37 years ago and formed their first band. Mike wrote many of his original songs at the Savage river next to the Mill.

Doors open at 6:30pm and the show will begin at 7:00pm with The New Early Sunrise Band. If you haven't seen them, this is your opportunity to catch an amazing group of musicians locking up to some honkey tonk country and western swing music. They will be followed by the MikeHamiltonBand performing songs from their new CD and from CDs made over the past 37 years.

This event is 21 and older; Bring Your Own Drinks (coolers are permitted). Tickets are $15.00. Online ticket sales include a small processing fee. Tickets are limited so get yours before they sell out.
