phenomenon and was the winner of seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. With equal measures of pluck and positivity, Little Orphan Annie charms everyones hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Determined to find the parents who abandoned her on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan, Annie -- with the help of other orphaned kids -- escapes to adventure after fun-filled adventure, foiling Hannigans evil machinations and befriending President Franklin D. Roosevelt! She finds a new home and family with wealthy Oliver Warbucks and a lovable mutt named Sandy.
