Musical Theatre Summer Camp 2018 runs from May 30th - June 15th. It is a full production of a musical, including costumes, sets, makeup and props for kids ages 6-12. EVERY camper is cast in the show and all efforts are made to highlight the talents of every individual performer. No experience is required. The production is fully staffed by Westwood High School students who direct, choreograph, music direct and tech the entire show. The camp is supervised by a certified teacher. It runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm daily and before and after care is available for an additional fee. In addition to the production, campers learn valuable acting skills and play fun drama games. The production is free for parents, relatives and friends of the campers but is not open to the public. The 2018 musical production is Willy Wonka!
Registration includes all fees for the camp including a camp t-shirt and unlimited tickets to see the production. Campers will need to bring a brown bag lunch, water and 2 snacks daily. Camp is limited to 35 campers.
