"Ndom" concerns Edwin LeBlanc, a white history teacher in a racially mixed neighborhood of Boston. After hearing a bullying incident in the boys room involving a Muslim student the other boys find effeminate, Edward approaches his rough and defensive principal to start a LGBT support group.

Three members of a city-wide group, which calls themselves The Youth of the Yellow Brick Road, meet at the school for a three day seminar. All is going well until Edwin has a discussion with the members concerning LGBT and racial issues and uses a word niggerdom. The word insults the members, although they are not sure of the meaning, sparking a situation in which Edwin is in danger of losing his job.

Ndom explores the sensitive issues of race, words and phrases which we may use all the time without knowing the meaning and the history behind them.
