SO YOU WANT TO BE AN AUTHOR? Irish Civil Rights lawyer & best-selling author Steve Cavanagh of TAKE THE PLEA

The event begins with a mini writing workshop. Steve Cavanagh, in conversation with St. Louis author and lawyer Michael Kahn, will talk about his newly published book, THE PLEA; share the path he took to getting his books published; his ideas for incorporating the law and courtroom into his writing; stories of his most controversial courtroom cases, and legal practices in the U.K.
Cavanagh and Kahn will then share their experiences writing legal thrillers, as practicing lawyers.balancing careers and writing.and take questions from attendees during an audience question and answer period. The event will close with a book sale and signing featuring both Steve Cavanaghs books and Michael Kahn's books. Books will be provided by Left Bank Books.
Food, beer, wine, and soda are included in the event, and ample, free parking is available in Schaflys two lots.
