Having proven themselves on the road in support of Birth And The Burial both as headliners and supporting the likes of Killswitch Engage and Hatebreed, the band are looking ahead to the expansive touring that will accompany Old Scars, New Wounds, and their hunger to get back in front of crowds has not abated in the slightest. "The immediate goal is to tour hard in support of 'Old Scars, New Wounds', play live everywhere we can, and expose as many people to our music as possible," Drover asserts. "Touring is the best way to reach the people, as it always has been - and we will do whatever it takes for Act Of Defiance to get as much exposure as possible."

Shattered Sun is a remarkable example of hard work and determination, coming a long way from their industrious origins. SHATTERED SUN echo the roots of Southern Texas, reflected on their debut album Hope Within Hatred, available in-stores and online at iTunes, Amazon Music, FYE, Hastings, and where digital music is sold. Upon release, Hope Within Hatred debuted at #1 on the CMJ Loud Rock charts, as well as within the Top 20 on the iTunes Metal chart and Top 50 on the Billboard Heat seekers chart. Even as a young band, SHATTERED SUN showed their prowess in the touring scene by first supporting Testament and Exodus on their national tour in 2015(which included stops at Welcome To Rockville Festival and New England Metal & Hardcore Festival), continuing on that summer as an official Victory Records Stage artist on the final Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival run. SHATTERED SUN are currently working new music, scheduled to release in 2017.
