Come, join us for an evening of music, dancing and amazing company! Our theme is Cupid's Chokehold; Cupid is the Greek God of desire, erotic love, attraction and affection, so let's not disappoint him, eh?

This is your opportunity to relive prom, without the high school drama. Invite the someone or someones of your choice, or come alone and make some new friends. We are celebrating all manner of ethical non-monogamists, from swing to poly and everything in between. Don't identify as non-mono, but consider yourself an open-minded friend? We would love to have you, too.

This event will be held at the Holiday Inn Virginia Beach Norfolk Hotel & Conference Center, so we encourage our guests to also book a room here (they are offering our group a discounted room rate) or nearby, if they intend on consuming alcohol. Call the hotel to book rooms for "the adult prom," event code is APN.

Dress is semi-formal to formal. We won't judge, so be true to you, but we would love to see you all fancied up, however that feels best. Public spaces are, well, public, so please keep that in mind for behavior and dress. We will have a block of centralized rooms, so we can continue celebrating after the dance floor closes.

There will also be a coloring table for our littles & other guests who may not want to dance. There will also be a raffle of local handcrafted goods, the proceeds to benefit a lifestyle parallel organization TBD. So, bring your ones!

Tickets to Poly Prom are $25 and include hors d'oevres and soft drinks; there will also be a cash bar. Please bring ID and your dancing shoes. Feel free to look up the Cupid's Chokehold group on Facebook, for more related events and to meet some new friends before Prom.
