$25 per class, $60 for a 3 class pass
Tainted Cabaret workshops last 1 hour and require a minimum class size of 3 students.
Classes are open to all levels of experience, unless otherwise noted. All genders welcome.

All you ever wanted to know about wigs! Whether you are more pinup or more drag queen, whether you use full wigs, falls or ponies, this class will help you take your fake-hair game to the next level. From what kind to buy and where to find them, to how to style them and how to keep them from falling off your head - Ula shares her years of experience and insider tips on all things WIGS! Please bring a notebook. If you have a wig you are struggling with, please bring it and your styling supplies.

Tricks and techniques to to strengthen your movement control
Beneath the glitter and gowns, tassels and tease, a burlesque performance is basically a dance. And before even one glove is removed, a peeler needs to show her command of the stage by being in command of her own movement. In her new class "High Kicks in High Heels", esteemed New York performer Miss Ekaterina will show you how and when to incorporate advanced stage-movement techniques into your choreography in order to put your routine through the roof---wait, that's TOO high of a kick!
Even if you have no formal dance or gymnastic training, Miss Ekaterina will show you tricks and techniques to to strengthen your movement control, adding pizzaz to your stroll and umpf to your bumps; as well as common sense stretches and agility-building exercises to keep you injury free in this most physical of activities.

STORYTELLING IN BURLESQUE with JAMES & THE GIANT PASTY
How to Get Naked and Tell a Story in 5 Minutes or Less Without Using Any Words!
Sometimes, the best burlesque acts are the ones that tell a story. In this class, James & The Giant Pasty will focus on the story you want to tell and teach you how to build that story in into a traditional burlesque act through the use of acting, costume, song choice, and story structure. Acting exercises will help you begin to formulate and act out the most important moments in you story. By the end of the class youll have all the tools you need to feel confident that you can incorporate your story into an act.
