Kaia Fowler + Beth Kille

Kaia Fowlers music draws from the rich traditions of American folk, acoustic blues, and roots rock. Her sound blends powerfully resonant vocals reminiscent of singers like Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell with engaging guitar work that ranges from delicate finger picking to percussive strumming. Kaia took up guitar playing and songwriting at a young age, and, throughout her life, she has poured her observations on lifes struggles, longings, joys, and sorrows into song. In concert, Kaias energy and authenticity invite listeners to enter into an experience that transcends the day-to-day, getting at the heart of human experience in the way only live music can.

A finalist in the 2012 Great River Folk Festival songwriting competition, her writing is admired for its lyrical detail and melodic expression. A review by The Americana Gazette says, Kaia Fowler is a tremendous lyricist. Her lyrics paint pictures and her musical notes add the color. Selections from her 2010 album Seams of My Heart received radio play on Women of Substance Radio. Kaias 2015 album, an EP titled All The Way, is dedicated to her husband who died of pancreatic cancer, with sales benefiting the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. A new album, One Breath, is scheduled for release in 2018.

Beth Kille is a 25-time Madison Area Music Association (MAMA) award winning artist from Madison, WI who has been cranking out Americana-Rock tunes since 2000. From solo house concerts to full-band festival shows, her love for the stage and genuine passion for performance shine through in all settings. Kille's stage prowess was recognized in 2011 when she received Artist of the Year honors at the Madison Area Music Awards a rare accomplishment for a solo artist. She has also been honored twice with the MAMA for Female Vocalist of the Year (06, 10) and was nominated for Singer-Songwriter of the Year in 2014 and for Female Vocalist of the Year in 2017 and 2018 by the Wisconsin Area Music Industry (WAMI).
