Join us for a Springtime Food & Beer Tasting!
Join Master Cicerone Rich Higgins for a taste of the best of spring! Wake up from winter with an informative and fun food and beer tasting, including asparagus, artichokes, strawberries, morels, and lamb sausage, all paired perfectly with Märzen (malty March beer), Bock beers (strong lagers), and a Belgian farmhouse saison and bière de table that are traditional beers that capture springtime in Europe. We will taste through 5 perfect pairings prepared by Bi-Rite Chef Wyatt Sandberg.
Rich Higgins Bio:
Rich is one of six Master Cicerones in the world. He curates the beer programs at San Francisco restaurants like Lolinda, Delarosa, and
Starbelly and orchestrates beer events, including at The Fifth Floor, Beretta, Piccino, and Public House. He also teaches beer education
classes and Cicerone training courses, curates the Beer of the Month Club at Plumpjack Wines, runs corporate team-building seminars, and
develops private, in-home events. Now a full-time Beer Consultant, he spent eight years as a professional brewer and brewmaster, in addition
