Anatomy of a Concerto
On February 28, The Library Society will have a unique opportunity to host Edward Hart and Yuriy Bekker. Dr. Hart will discuss the inspiration for his violin concerto, Under an Indigo Sky, composed for Yuriy Bekker. Maestro Bekker will play excerpts from the piece as the two explain and demonstrate what is involved in the creation and execution of this extraordinary composition.
