We are excited for this Thursday's GreenDrinks. We're having an underground art party with exclusive access to the PaintPeopleProject. A collaboration led by local artist and icon Amy Burnett and located in the basement of her building; this exhibit has limited access.

Amy Burnett's Lower Studio (16'x50'), Bremerton 4th & Pacific
Almost 20 painters, film makers, photographers & writers involved.
Installation has taken several months to create.
Lead by Project Manager and local artist, Juan Rodriguez
Amy says "for a long time I had wanted to paint life size People right on commercial retail walls; for no reason except for creation, expression & effect". She called professional artists, and 12 artists immediately responded, three she had just met. They began with no rhyme or reason, no preliminary sketches, no plan except they were to be creations of life size people. "No politics & nothing that would get me arrested". The process itself has been a performance piece as well as an art installation. Public viewing has been limited. Now there are over 30 People on the wall. Visitors welcome to take photos.

The event is hosted by Jennifer McLinko of Mise en Place Design and Amy Burnett. We will enter through Mise en Place and sneak through the Purpose space downstairs to the exhibit and our underground art party.
