MENTALIST ERIC DITTELMAN, CARD MAGICIAN JORDI MAGOMERO, COMEDY MAGICIAN PHIL LEVY AND MAGICIAN HOST TERRY PARRETT BRING MYSTERY AND HUMOR TO THE PARLOR OF MYSTERY IN LINDENHURST ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 28. at 7pm
Eric Dittelman is probably best known as a finalist and judges' favorite on NBC's "America's Got Talent." Having amazed all of America on national TV, he continues to perform at colleges, comedy clubs and corporate events all across the country. He combines amazing mind reading with stand-up and improv comedy and has honed his comedy skills with Second City, Improv Boston, and Upright Citizen's Brigade. He has also been a guest on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" and featured in "Entertainment Weekly," "Rolling Stone," and even "The National Enquirer." If you were also a mind reader, you would've known that already.
Jordi Magomero
The roots of Jordi Magomero's magic are in Barcelona, Spain. His magic reflects the traditional Spanish style, which he describes as a "journey" with the spectators. Jordi creates intimate miracles with cards, coins, and balls, many of which woven into stories. Magomero was awarded 2nd Prize in Close-up at Cabra-Cadabra in 2010 and 1st Prize in Close-up at Decklords in 2007.
Phil Levy
During intermission, Phil Levy will provide close-up entertainment in the theatre lobby. Long Island funnyman, Levy, has made mystifying mayhem for more than 40 years from Manhattan to Montauk as a magician and multi-costumed party motivator.
Terry Parrett
Emcee Terry Parrett, is a magician, mentalist, author and professional hypnotist who has performed for audiences all across the country. He lectures for other magicians at conferences in New York, Albuquerque, Tennessee, and Toronto and recently finished consulting on the feature film "Splinterheads."
The Parlor of Mysterys is one of many programs presented at the South Shore Theatre Experience in Lindenhurst. Its the perfect place to experience parlor and close-up magic. It is small black box theater with comfortable tiered seating for 45. The Parlor of Mystery is one of many productions that take place at the South Shore Theatre Experience, which is located at 115 South Wellwood Avenue in Lindenhurst. The South Shore Theatre Experience is a non-profit organization that produces original works and theater classics as well as conducting acting classes & workshops.
Parlor of Mystery shows usually take place on the fourth Sunday of every month with different magicians performing different effects.
Tickets are $15 and available on-line, and at the door, however, space is limited.
