Grappling intensive
In the Grappling intensive students will learn the fundamentals of close range contact in stage combat. Techniques such as choking, arm bars, and hair pulls as well as the importance of physical communication between scene partners.
Conflict & Combat is an ongoing series of intensives focused on training student and professional actors in the techniques of theatrical violence. This will provide a safe environment for both veterans and beginners to explore existing skills and learn new ones. Each intensive includes one masterclass and three workshops centered on a particular concept, taught by professional fight choreographers from the Boston area and beyond. The workshops allow students to practice the techniques from the masterclass, deepening their understanding through exploration and repetition.
