Songwriter Circle Returns: Just Cal and Richard!

After a brief hiatus, Richard Moore and Cal Scott are back for an other Songwriter Circle, Monday February 5, 7:00pm at O'Connor's Vault. While shows later in the year will have guests, we're getting started again with just the usual suspects, Cal and Richard, swapping songs and stories like they've done so well for the past six years.

If you're new to the circle, Richard Moore and Cal Scott are singer-songwriters in the tradition of the greats of the sixties and seventies, local favorites matching the quality of James Taylor and Paul Simon, but with their absolutely unique musical styles and outlooks on life. Richard's songs will make you laugh and cry simultaneously, and Cal can make you feel like you've read a great novel after three verses and a chorus. Richard fills the gaps with stories and jokes, and Cal adds whipped cream on top of the musical treat with artful embellishments from his guitar, harmonica, cornet and whatever instrument he happens to pick up.
