Glass Fusion Sugar Skull

Resident artist Donna Smit will guide students through this class to create a sugar skull to either hang in your home or have in your yard. This five hour class will entail a brief history of Dia de los Muertos(day of the dead) and the tradition of creating sugar skulls. The finished piece will be approximately 8" x 10". All materials are provided and each student will learn to use glow in the dark frit, and detail their pieces with glassline paints, millifiore dichroic, and kiln baubles. Lunch and drink will be provided by Woody's with a limited menu which will be ordered at the beginning of class. Preferred glass cutting experience but not required. The main emphasis will be detailing your art with fusible paints. Limited to 8 students.

Cancellation Policy: Preregistration is required for all classes including payment in full. A full refund is available for cancellations up to 7 days before class, half refund 2-7 days before class. There is no refund within 48 hours of class. If there is a waiting list or you can find someone to fill your spot, we are happy to offer a full workshop credit or get you scheduled for another class.
