Misako Ballet Company will present "Classical with a Japanese Twist" at the Jim Rouse Theatre on Sunday, February 10, at 2:00pm.

This concert will feature "Japanese Rhymes and Songs" choreographed and directed by Artistic Director, Misako Aoki-Oda. The program will include "Dance for Sonata No. 1" choreographed by Eva Anderson and variations from "Esmeralda", "Talisman", and the ballet "Le Corsaire".
The Baltimore Canon will provide a musical interlude.

"Classical with a Japanese Twist" features company dancers; Genevieve Ellis-Williams, Melissa Lineburg, Jessica Markiewicz, Jessica McElvaney, Emily Runkle, Amanda Wade, guest artist Lester Holmes and the Misako Ballet Junior Company.

Please join us for this concert on Sunday, February 10th at 2:00 p.m. at the Jim Rouse Theater at Wilde Lake High School, 5460 Trumpeter Road, Columbia, MD 21044. Ticket prices are $12 for adults; $10 for seniors and students; and $6 for children 12 and under. Tickets may be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets or at the door.

This is a family friendly concert, although very young children may prefer our Free Concert series which feature shorter running times, audience participation, and a more casual atmosphere.
