Community Baroque Gathering

REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY 3 AT MIDNIGHT!

Join Early Music Access Project for a baroque orchestra reading session and early music networking event suitable for a variety of instruments and experience levels. Baroque violinists David McCormick and David Sariti will lead the ad hoc orchestra in a variety of baroque orchestra pieces, offering stylistic advice and historical context.

This event is designed for all of the following players:
Professional early music specialists
Professional musicians with limited or no baroque experience
Adult amateurs with some orchestral experience and an interest in early music
Talented high school and college students interested in early music
Modern and baroque instruments welcomed (pitch will be A440)
String players: violin, viola, cello, viola da gamba, bass
Wind and brass players: recorder, flute, oboe, bassoon, trumpet, horn
Continuo players: harpsichord, plucked continuo

JUST ANNOUNCED: A choral workshop for all voice types will be offered as well, with the choral and instrumental groups joining forces for the final hour! Use this portal to pay the registration fee for either the choral or instrumental event.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
FEE: $10 for adults, $5 for high school and college students
